     SYLLABUS  FOR  SHORT TEST 2  MATHS EXAM  includes the following chapters:
1.Vector Algebra
2.Three Dimensional  Geometry
3.Linear Programming Problem
4.Probability
5.Supplementary on vectors
The paper will be for 2 hours and 50 marks.Prepare chapters 3d,Probability well as they will cover the maximum part of paper.

MATHS DAY CELEBRATION IN RAMJAS SCHOOL PUSA ROAD 22ND DECEMBER 2015

,   MATHS DAY REPORT 2015
To commemorate the 128th birth anniversary of the great mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan, , Ramjas School, Pusa Road celebrated the ‘Maths Day’ with a plethora of activities organized for the students. For classes VI,VII and VIII the activities planned were ‘Mathematical Relay Race’, ‘Book Jacket’ and ‘Mathematically Designed Mugs’ respectively.

The events ‘Tesselations’ and ‘Global Currency exchange’ were organized to lay emphasis on the real life applications of Maths among students of classes IX and X.  Further, to broaden the technical skills of the students, class XI competed in ‘Explore Maths with Desmos’ .Desmos is the next generation of graphing calculator.The students were fully engrossed in desmos activity - plot functions,create tables,animate graphs to create wonderful images and pictures like Akshardham Temple,School Logo ,Taj Mahal,Solar System and many more.Such activities gives a platform to the students where there is no limit for imagination and creation. The event culminated with the prize distribution ceremony where the principal Mrs.Mohini Bindra congratulated the winners for their achievement.

teaching linear inequalities using desmos software

class xi students were taught linear inequality topic using software desmos in lab.
firstly the students were explained how to work on this software.
students were overwhelmed when the graph pops up when the equation of the curve is typed.
students started with linear graphs,went ahead with quadratic curves too.
